All too soon, Tyree finds himself encased in magical barrier transforming him into an unintelligible Ogre. Now trapped, caged and put on display, Tyree hopes that his friends are searching for him. But while the war wages across the countryside, Tyree cannot see a hopeful future. Will Tyree make it to Ishtabar on time? Will he get free before the dragon egg hatches? Will the heroes who search for him make it through the battle ground, or fall to the enemies of Ishtabar.
