The story follows him from his original roots in South Africa, to his education in England, his career in Australia, and his final years in the Philippines. During his colorful life the author tells of the many trials and tribulations he experienced before his eventual success and retirement. It is a motivational and inspiring book which describes how a very ordinary man can achieve the goals which he sets for himself, despite the many blunders and bad decisions that he makes on the journey.
