Fanny Blake es una escritora británica con amplia experiencia editorial: trabajó como editora de ficción y no ficción durante muchos años, hasta que decidió dedicarse a escribir por su cuenta. Con estudios en la Universidad de Edimburgo en francés y español, su trayectoria profesional la llevó desde Corgi Books hasta Penguin, donde fue editora senior durante 14 años, y luego directora editorial en otras editoriales. Su paso por la edición le dio una visión privilegiada del camino del libro, lo que ahora volca en su narrativa.

En su faceta como autora, Blake ha publicado varias novelas de ficción contemporánea, como The Secrets Women Keep (2013), y coordinado colecciones de relatos como A Fresh Start, parte de la serie Quick Reads (2020), que invita a nuevos lectores a acercarse al placer de la lectura.
