Michael Dante DiMartino (Shelburne, Vermont, 18 de julio de 1974) es un reconocido animador, productor, guionista y director de animación estadounidense. Se graduó en 1996 de la Escuela de Diseño de Rhode Island, donde conoció a Bryan Konietzko, con quien co-creó las exitosas series animadas "Avatar: La leyenda de Aang" (2005-2008) y "La leyenda de Korra" (2012-2014) para Nickelodeon.

Además de su trabajo en televisión, DiMartino publicó la novela "Rebel Genius" en 2016, dirigida al público juvenil. En 2018, fue anunciado como productor ejecutivo y showrunner de la adaptación de acción real de "Avatar: La leyenda de Aang" para Netflix, aunque posteriormente dejó el proyecto en 2020 debido a diferencias creativas. En 2021, cofundó Avatar Studios, dedicado a expandir el universo de Avatar mediante nuevas series y películas animadas.
