Reseña del libro "The Hospitality Ladder (en Inglés)"

Antoni Konecne is an Iowa resident and native with over 25 years of experience in the restaurant business. Beginning in the 1980's as a bus boy and dish washer, he now serves as the GM of a high volume, casual restaurant in Ankeny, Iowa. Antoni is an expert in many areas of business operations including customer service, guest recovery, team development, training, and sales growth. There are many books out there written by CEO's for wannabe CEO's. Tons of manuscripts exist written by celebrity owners, chefs, and leadership gurus aimed at current leaders, managers and people who have already made it past the bottom rungs of The Hospitality Ladder. Where are the books written by managers for people who want to be managers; or, for people who want to be better team members? There are a huge number of people out there who know there is more to life than standing on the bottom rung. Those people look up, and maybe-just maybe-there is someone there giving them a hand up. Likely there is not. This book is for you; this is your hand up. The Hospitality Ladder, broken into four parts, starts very simply with Attitude and works its way upward to Altitude, and finally Fortitude. Antoni shares many of his training tools and models with you, and lays out many of the resources he has discovered along his journey that have contributed to his success. Antoni began writing The Hospitality Ladder as an introspective exercise to inspect the elements of his own experience and further develop his skills. As the work progressed, it took on a life of it's own. He realized that the inner power he used to overcome his past and dismantle the roadblocks in his life could help transform the lives of others. His trials and triumphs, successes and failures, mistakes and self-imposed roadblocks are laid out for you in the hope that you can use that experience to make improvements in your own professional and personal life. Getting started on The Hospitality Ladder isn't always easy. When you are standing on the bottom rung looking up, the challenge to move forward can seem overwhelming. Be forewarned, those of tender spirit need not apply. This book will challenge you to look for the monster in the mirror-and not-so-politely ask it to leave.
