Charlie sat alone at the bus stop just outside of Belfast, where he had the utter realisation that he has made the biggest mistake of his life.

Then he met James Alexander William Blacken, or as his friends call him, Jim.

Together, they set forth on an adventure which begins with their unlikely friendship and ends with them facing the great unknown of the universe.

Along the way, they meet new faces, the mystically impossible Ninja, the mysterious one-eyed Meg and the perfect Eve, all while facing down cults, heavy metal psychopaths and Jim's somewhat megalomaniacal ex Bella.
