David Carrigan resided in a pitch-black universe where a swarm of invisible mini-devils were launching scorching arrows at his brain. The girl standing over him saw the expression of death itself in his eyes as he struggled and yelled out in opposition to them. Jeanne Marie-Anne Boulain reiterated her claim to be St. Pierre's wife.
