Gina Renee Dunham es una diseñadora de moda, experta en patronaje y autora especializada en ajustes y bocetos de moda para figuras femeninas. Su formación formal comenzó en el prestigioso Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) en Nueva York, donde se graduó en 2003. Desde entonces desarrolló su carrera en la industria de la confección, inicialmente trabajando en Alta Costura en Nueva York y luego creando ropa técnica para surf y snowboard en California.

En 2012 se mudó a Alemania, donde lanzó su propia empresa independiente, Gina Renee Designs, centrada en patrones de costura digitales. Posteriormente en 2014 se trasladó a Suiza, trabajando como directora técnica en una reconocida marca europea de ropa deportiva, liderando un equipo de patronistas y desarrolladores, y confeccionando prendas para atletas de élite.

Dunham es la autora de libros muy populares dentro de la comunidad de modistas, entre ellos The Fitting Book, The Fashion Design Book y The Curvy Fashion Design Book. Sus obras combinan teoría técnica y mucha práctica, incorporando referencias gráficas, diagramas y códigos QR para acceder a tutoriales en vídeo, enseñando a lograr prendas bien ajustadas y visualmente atractivas.

Además, es creadora del método propio de patronaje llamado GRD Method™, diseñado para personalizar el ajuste de las prendas según las medidas corporales. Ofrece cursos y recursos en línea, como “Making a Moulage – The GRD Method™”, que han ayudado a miles de personas a mejorar el encaje de sus diseños de manera profesional.

El servicio de entrega muy bien, en su debido tiempo. El libro está bien explicado. Quizás me hubiera gustado que los dibujos fueran más en coloress y la cubierta de cartón fuerte . Peró aun así, el libro está muy bien.
