Im Jahr 1875 grndete Arnold Janssen die Gesellschaft des Gttlichen Wortes (SVD), einen Missionsorden, der neben der philosophischen und theologischen Ausbildung auch das Interesse an den positiven Wissenschaften pflegt, insbesondere an der Erforschung auereuropischer Kulturen. Die ethnologische Zeitschrift "Anthropos" (1906) und die sinologische Zeitschrift "Monumenta Serica" (1935), sind aus dieser Tradition der Gesellschaft hervorgegangen. Der vorliegende Band enthlt eine Auswahl von Artikeln, die in den letzten 100 Jahren in diesen Zeitschriften verffentlicht wurden und die die Herausgeber als am reprsentativsten fr eines der aktuellen Organisationsziele der Gesellschaft ansehen, nmlich den interkulturellen und interreligisen Dialog in der globalisierten Welt.Mit Beitrgen vonAnna Meiser | Jean Michaud
