They range, for example, from the injustice of "direct file" in which young people are tried and incarcerated as adults to her personal bout with cancer. More than anything, this book pays homage to Andrea's town--Pensacola--but she is not afraid to marshal her meticulously chosen words--Her View-- to improve it. Patricia Taylor Edmisten, community activist and retired university professor, has written seven books, including Wild Women with Tender Hearts, winner of the Peace Corps Writers' Award, and The Treasures of Pensacola Beach.
