This novel brings to life a riveting tale of lovers battling against earthly obstacles in the quest for growth and meaning as it follows Rick and Carol through two different incarnations. Beginning in World War Two, Rick is a naive but endearing U.S. Army Air Corps bomber pilot and Carol a jaded Army nurse who's seen it all. Readers are quickly swept up by nail-biting action and steamy romance, then transported to the end of the twentieth century when Carol takes on a personal mission and Rick is struggling with his own demons. Carol's actions unwittingly put her life and Rick's in danger, while her conditioning causes her to remain oblivious to the reasons she is on earth, which far outweigh her immediate concerns. Indeed, sometimes one lifetime is not enough for kismet to play out. As you will see, Carol and Rick have been brought together for a purpose, and souls always reunite when drawn by passion, love or hate.
