Eliphas Lévi, seudónimo de Alphonse Louis Constant (1810–1875), fue un ocultista, escritor y exseminarista francés, considerado una figura clave en el renacimiento del esoterismo occidental en el siglo XIX. Aunque comenzó su vida en el seno del catolicismo, abandonó el sacerdocio para dedicarse a la escritura y la filosofía esotérica. Su obra más influyente, *Dogma y Ritual de la Alta Magia* (1854–1856), sentó las bases de la magia ceremonial moderna.
