This charming little book will help young children (pre-K to 2nd Grade) settle down and go to sleep. It is intentionally written and illustrated in a way that will inspire its readers, not just to relax and sleep, but to write their own books. Perfect for reading aloud, and for beginning readers to sound it out for themselves. It makes a great gift for kids and families. And don't forget the babysitter of young kids! Erika Ruiz, of Ruiz Family Daycare in Silver Lake, California, wrote and illustrated the book. She wanted it to look as if it were illustrated by a child only a little bit older than the children who will be reading it. Vickelly Lopez created the Little Cositas Explore logo and contributed the illustration of the doll on page 25, which can be purchased as a companion to the book. Victoria Medina created the lovely Awake and Asleep faces for the doll.
