Blessed are my dreams as in them I’m free, Blessed are my dreams as with them I see. Gladius Magnus is a collection of 21 sonnets. These poems help conduce a young man of eighteen, Niccolo, on his trade ship heading to Nassau in the Bahamas from Greece. Gods and Goddesses arrive in helpful ways. Love, of course is pictured through Niccolo towards the raven-haired young girl, Camilla. The poem illustrates long distance love and how young men and women would behave. However, love has unpredictable ways that can corrupt and sabotage an innocent soul.
