This book was launched through the inspiration of a friend, a person who had been making a great effort to turn her life around. Because of privacy issues, I won't mention her name here. But I will say that this young woman has done a monstrous turn-around from where she once was. Recently, some of her past caught up with her. She confessed, very publicly, "I really messed up." As I thought about this further, I realized that, in spite of her very strident self-criticism, she was no worse, or no better, than the rest of us. Regardless of where we are in life, each of us shares a very common bond with this young woman. Join me as we prayerfully consider our lives in relation to the simplicity of Jesus Christ and his plan for our lives.
