Scott Snyder es un guionista estadounidense de cómics cuya influencia ha redefinido el medio moderno. Con una formación inicial en ficción, debutó con una colección de relatos llamada Voodoo Heart antes de ingresar al mundo del cómic alrededor de 2009. Desde esa transición, se convirtió en una de las voces más reconocidas, especialmente en DC Comics.

Su salto a la fama llegó con American Vampire, una serie de horror histórico que co-creó con el artista Rafael Albuquerque, y que alcanzó gran notoriedad en el sello Vertigo. Poco después, con el relanzamiento de Batman en The New 52 y en colaboración con Greg Capullo, inauguró una etapa definitoria del Caballero Oscuro. También abordó otras franquicias icónicas como Swamp Thing, Justice League, Dark Nights: Metal y su secuela Death Metal, consolidando su posición como uno de los nombres clave en la editorial.

Además de su trabajo para las grandes editoriales, Snyder ha explorado proyectos de creación propia, ofreciendo entretenimiento innovador en géneros como el horror (Wytches) o la ciencia ficción (Nocterra). A nivel personal, vive en Long Island con su esposa Jeanie y sus hijos, y comparte su pasión por la escritura impartiendo clases en instituciones como Sarah Lawrence College y Columbia University.
