Reseña del libro "Baptism in the Early Church. A Discussion of Baptismal Modes (en Inglés)"
As Jesus was about to ascend to Heaven, he instructed his disciples to evangelize the world and baptize every convert in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. However, when Peter was asked by the crowd standing at the foot of the Upper Room what they must do to be saved, he told them to be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ. Interestingly enough, there is not a single instance in the New Testament where someone was baptized in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Even though the early Church taught and practiced baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ, Trinitarians insist that they would rather obey the words of Jesus than those of the Apostles. In other words, they are insinuating that the Apostles were wrong when they baptized in the Name of Jesus. Can it be that the orthodox belief in baptism does not conform to the practice held by the Apostles of the New Testament? This book will explore the development of the Trinity, as well as the Trinitarian practice of baptism in the Name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost.
