Hajime Isayama, nacido en 1986 en Ōyama, Japón, es uno de los mangakas más influyentes de su generación. Formado en diseño de manga, debutó profesionalmente en 2009 con Shingeki no Kyojin (Ataque a los Titanes), obra que lo catapultó a la fama tras ganar el Magazine Grand Prix en 2006. Inspirado por títulos como Kingdom Hearts y The Mist, desarrolló un estilo narrativo intenso y visualmente impactante.

Ataque a los Titanes se convirtió en un fenómeno global, con más de 140 millones de copias vendidas y una exitosa adaptación animada.
