The professed Christian will love reading this book. It contains one hundred poems that appeal to his or her sense of values. Many works herein can be used as devotionals. Much of the poems may be regarded as messages of encouragement and enlightenment. The entire body of work supports a positive look at self and the world through the gospel of Jesus Christ. The book supports mission on Christ's behalf and salvation through His love. It reminds the reader of the power of faith and prayer. It calls him or her to duty inspired by the love Jesus displayed. The book also relays Christ's hope of eternal reward for those guided by His faith and baptized in His blood. Today the world drifts ever so insidiously towards moral decay, instability, and fear. Now more than ever Jesus' message is needed to recalibrate mankind's thinking and approach. If people can realize the great values He articulated, internalize them, and try to spread them, the status of the world would be much better. This book proudly contributes to that effort. It is an honest contemplation of the Bible through poetry, particularly focusing on Jesus' message of salvation for mankind. One can use these poems to reflect on Jesus' life, example, and teachings. He or she can find important facets of these captured in beautiful phrases. They reinvigorate spirit, captivate mind, and motivate par action. The reader is reminded that God should take priority in his or her life and have that value condition his or her deeds. The book argues that this is the essence of Jesus Christ and what He meant for mankind. This final line in the first stanza of the first poem "Praise with Pleasure" captures the idea: "Lord you're all that's right for me to do". Make no mistake, by following the advice and learning from the morals contained in this book, one will certainly improve himself personally, emotionally, and spiritually. This is a book that promotes time-honored values through which people of all kinds have found balance in their lives, inspiration, and fulfillment. One can read it daily and find great reward from doing so.
