Sparks is the pastor-teacher of Christ Community Church (ccc-online.org) in Southern California. He is the Bible teacher on Living Word (livingword-online.org), a radio ministry reaching Southern California. He has authored God's Hope for Your Home and a trilogy on the Person and Work of Christ: Contemplating the Christ, Commemorating the Christ and Celebrating the Christ. He and Laurie, his wife of thirty-seven years, have eight children and seventeen grandchildren. Dr. John B. Aker received his Master of Divinity at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and later earned his Doctor of Ministry. He served as a US Army Chaplain, and has pastored churches in Vermont, New Jersey, Illinois, and Arizona. He has contributed several articles to various periodicals. He is also the author of Lengthen Your Stride, and Quicken Your Pace. He and Rose, his wife of fifty-seven years, reside in Florida. They have three daughters, sixteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
