The resulting children's picture book is both entertaining and educational.The author and the illustrator are educators who grew up in South Brunswick, New Jersey and now live in rural New Hampshire. Mrs. Costa grew up in a large family of seven children, four of them girls, and Mrs. Buckley is the mother of six adventurous girls of her own.
