After five long years of widowhood, Beth Bennett has finally become comfortable in her new normal. She isn't deliriously happy, but she is content in her life. Beth and Rick barely knew each other when they were younger, but from the moment Rick steps onto her front porch, sparks begin to fly. Rick sees that life in Latitude isn't the drab existence he had tried so hard to escape, and Beth realizes that there is more to life than getting by one day at a time.
