This new group, which continues the series, includes 40 watercolors from Ackroyd's journeys down Ireland's west coast. From Malin to Mizen via the cliffs of Inishmore, the rocky outcrops of Puffin Island and the emerald depths of Roaringwater Bay, Ackroyd records the Irish coast in all its rugged beauty. The book concludes with a gazetteer by the artist, providing fascinating snippets of information about his locations and revealing the extent of Ireland's geological diversity and ancient cultural traditions.
