Michel Gros es actualmente el principal autor del calendario lunar. Nacido en una comunidad agrícola, muy pronto se interesó por la ecología y la agricultura ecológica. Fascinado por todo lo relacionado con la alimentación y la salud, en 1975 se estableció como hortelano biológico. De forma paralela, desde los años 80, participa activamente en la realización del calendario lunar.
