A great book for students learning exam scales! It can be really difficult to learn and memorise scales and arpeggios on the flute. For one thing you can't watch your fingers as you play. For another, the notes go very high with lots of ledger lines to read. Students need all the help they can get, so this handy little book will be really useful. All of the music is written in large print with many hints and tips to guide the student. In addition, grade 1 scales and arpeggios have the note names written in - a great help for young students who are not yet completely fluent at music reading.
