Methodology questions for European law, and for European civil law in particular, are presented systematically and comprehensively in the convention volume. In addition to basic principles - legal comparison and economic theory - the authors discuss methodology questions for primary and secondary law as well as for the member state (implementation) law. At the same time, the presentation is not limited to an abstract presentation of the basic questions: In a particular section, academics and practitioners of European law apply themselves to methodology questions in individual legal areas - contract, labor, company and capital market law on the one hand, and methodology questions in the case law of the European Supreme Court and the German Federal Supreme Court on the other hand.
