Dahveed Nelson, a founding member of The Last Poets (one of the forefathers of hip hop) continues the work he began in 1968, as a member of the artistic fraternity, in this exploration of black consciousness. In a series of journal entries, he seeks to usher in a new world and observes that in seeking their blackness, the black community is seeking higher consciousness. Count up to Infinity is a multigenre, multilevel experience.
