Here are 12 problems, going from easy to difficult, along with explanations on how to approach the problems (the hardest part), and how to solve the problems. This is a great tool for students, especially aimed at passing an ACT or SAT exam. It's also a great tool for teachers. I purposely made many problems easy with the numbers, just to show students how to solve the problems. Change the numbers and you have a whole other problem, complete with arithmetic and algebra challenges. Students need to have basic arithmetic and algebra skills to do these problems. For some problems, they will need to be able to reduce fractions or convert fractions to percentages.
