Reseña del libro "The Train to Else (en Inglés)"
The Train to Else by George RomaryThe Train to Else is like no other train, because are no longer any trains to anywhere. Aboard this train is Mr Nose, a lonely Robinson Crusoe figure, adrift in a world torn apart by riot and confusion. Along with a wildly eccentric crew, lead by the enigmatic genius Notjohn, the train is rescued from cold storage in South London and begins a perilous and fantastical journey through a shattered land.Notjohn insists he knows the cause of the “Great Contagion” as he calls it, and needs the train and its crew to go in search of “something special”, though what this is and where to find it seems a mystery which is only gradually revealed, and proves beyond any of their wildest dreams. From the Greenwich meridian, north through the Midlands and out west to the secret waters of Cardigan Bay, they go, a great plume of steam from their beautiful engine, “The Seagull” flowing behind. After overcoming both adversity and amazement , which seem to occur around every bend in the track, the arrive at their destination, a seaborne village where the waters move in a mysterious way, where the sky is thin, and a cataclysmic finale awaits.
