Marianne Cronin nació en 1990 y vive en Birmingham donde ha obtenido un doctorado en Lingüística Aplicada examinando el vínculo entre el lenguaje y el humor en la ficción. Actualmente trabaja como profesora de educación superior. En su tiempo libre realiza comedias de improvisación con el grupo Box of Frogs de Birmingham.
