Listen to the crows, her neighbor tells her, but when the crows caw a warning, P.J. Benson doesn't listen. She's been told living in the country is safer than living in the city. She certainly doesn't expect to be shot at when she takes her Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy for a walk in her own woods. And she definitely doesn't expect to find a man dying in her dining room. What was he trying to tell her? P.J. is a C.P.A. and it's tax time. Her expertise is working with numbers, not solving a murder. And, even though she finds the local sheriff's deputy good looking, as long as he considers her his prime suspect and thinks she's making up stories about deadly ladybugs and someone breaking into her house, she wants nothing to do with him. Forced to question her sanity, P.J.'s not sure who or what to believe, but if she doesn't find the answer soon, she may be the next victim. The Crows is a fast-paced cozy with a twist at the end.
