In 1971, He enrolled at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and received a degree in Civil Engineering in May 1976. He worked for the Federal Government as an engineer from June 1976 until January 2008.His first book was Brendan of Kilrush. It is a historical adventure novel intended for the young adult market. Brendan of Kilrush, was published by Ink Smith Publishing in 2014 and is available as a paperback.
