Dr. Thomas B Bowen is a speaker, teacher, author and orthodontic specialist. Dr. Bowen graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida and then received his doctorate in dentistry from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry. He was a recipient of the Army's Health Scholarship Program. After serving 4 years as a captain in the USArmy both in the United States and overseas, he spent 10 years in private practice in Asheville, NC. After going back to residency and earning his Masters degree in the orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, he founded Bowen Orthodontics in Rolla and St Robert, MO. Dr. Bowen also has four children of his own, 3 sons and a daughter. Dr. Bowen's vision is to change lives, advance the profession of orthodontics and support his community.The core focus of Dr. Bowen and his team is to help children and adults, Reach Their Smile. More than that he believes orthodontics is more than just creating smiles. It is about forming strong relationships and friendships with patients, families, dental colleagues, and the community. He also serves as the president of the Ozark Dental Society and maintains memberships with both professional organizations and community groups.Dr. Bowen supports the local community by giving grants to both teachers and students and provides free orthodontic care through the program Smiles Change Lives.
