preventable Tsunami is a presentation by a motivational speaker to a group of middle class government workers. His speech centred on the appropriateness of the proverb, "A stitch in time saves nine". He painstakingly traced the genesis of the ills plaguing our society today, which he likens to a tsunami, to our failure to act when we should have acted. He heaps all the blame on the doorstep of societal inaction because of finger pointing and nonchalant attitude. That the society is the architect of its doom. He also blames exploitation of the poor and the weak by the rich and powerful for all the ills plaguing the society today. He however concluded with a success story to show that all is not doom and gloom. Stressing that there is still hope if the people will live up to expectation and act now before it is too late.
