The features of this book are: 1, Each Chinese character is marked with Chinese Pinyin (including four TONES), in order to facilitate the readers them self to read. This is is the characteristic that other Chinese teaching materials do not or seldom have; 2, All contents focus to introduce Chinese culture, natural and humanistic landscapes; 3, Most of the topics are limited to about two pages; 4, Each topic is made up of mainly practical and simple sentences; 5, Each topic is almost limited to 20 sentences; and 6, Lots of useful Chinese words and expressions are added in each topic. The last topic is more comprehensive with brief introduction to Chinese culture. It is especially very helpful for foreign readers to understand briefly Chinese culture. Therefore, it is a study and teaching material and textbook of Chinese language and culture which is suitable for all age groups and levels. Furthermore, this book can be used for self-reading/studying; learning in groups; teaching textbook in the classroom and as a Mandarin language reference book.
