It is noteworthy when a person has widely diverse talents. Neil Noble is one such individual. His creation, Moods of a Lake, not only showcases his skillful talents a poet, but also his artistic sensibilities in directing Ms. Jingfang Wang, to produce a black and white series of nearly impressionistic images that he integrated with his poems. The result has been the fashioning of a synergistic marriage of diametrically opposed media that, together, provide a rich and powerful impact. The blending of all these elements yields multidimensional poems having greater depth and breadth. He believes in vicarious thrills. A good artist sees what others see and creates a unique version of it. A great artist draws one into their version to see it from another set of eyes. He aspires to that latter goal.
