Mandatory retirement from the Secret Service after an exemplary thirty-year career leaves Marc Strong frustrated. It is learned that Tommy Moran, Blinky's son, is the leader of the "I-95 Gang." Marc's determination to bring Tommy to justice leads him and his allies to California, as Tommy tries first to hide out with his sister there, and then to Ireland where he flees to his grandmother's in Sligo. In Ireland there are many surprising developments and also the introduction of a number of colorful characters that enhance the drama of the story. The book features romance, dramatic encounters involving rabid Irish nationalism, religious conversion, and even casino gambling. The biggest surprise of all comes at the end. This is a truly unique story!
