Lamont's search for clues to her identity and the person who tried to kill her leads him on a trail of blackmail and murder in one of his most challenging cases since leaving the Forest Heights Police Department. He also is the author of two novels that take place in France during World War II-"Love and Death in Paris" and "Paris Orphan: Escape from Evil."
