Dr. Dee is a retired teacher, school counselor, and psychotherapist, with a passion for writing happy, motivating, children's stories that have a message. She weaves magic and imagination into short animal stories that make wonderful bedtime reading. Dr. Dee was born in New Zealand and spent time in Australia with her husband and two children before moving to her husband's birth place of Kitty Hawk, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
