Intermixed with the recipes are short stories taken from the author's life, as well as thoughts on verses from God's Word, the Bible. Carolyn opens up to readers about her struggle with anxiety attacks and vertigo, becoming a mother, handling her divorce and enduring trials in life that she sees now as tests God implemented to bring forth more blessings to her. She separates the stories into the categories of Mind, Body and Soul, revealing similar attributes within the stories that connect to these three characteristics of a person. Besides pleasing your palate, Inspired by Experience will fulfill the longings in your heart to know who God is and the importance of having Him lead your life.
