This study on the building Headquarters of the Ministries of the Junta de Extremadura in Mérida by the architect Juan Navarro Baldeweg, is motivated to carry out an investigation on the theory of architecture in order to, through the study of a building, decipher where the forms come from, where there are elements of reason.The choice of the building is clear. On the one hand the architect, the main reason; on the other hand the proximity of the building and to consider it a building that "suggests".It is a building in which the expressive resources are reduced to a minimum, however the problems of architecture are present: the construction of the perimeter of the city, the size, the frontality, the approach and the problem of scale.An important work of compilation of everything published up to this moment of the studied building has been carried out and it has been possible to access the original project and documentation of the competition and of the work.
