Chronology means to determine the proper sequence according to the order of occurrence. In this volume this has been done together with the dating of the various events. The source of the framework is in the Bible. The time period covered is from eternity past to the start of the Church Age. How good is our data? THE AUTHOR OF SCRIPTURE As Christians we are extremely fortunate to have an absolutely accurate set of data from which the dates of various historical events can be deduced. It is clearly stated that the real author of Scripture is the Holy Spirit. This is shown in 2 Peter 1:21 which states "For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost". As the Holy Spirit is God and totally accurate, the dates given in the Bible are absolutely accurate.
