In the short story, "Brian's Image of Success," Brian Wilson and Candace Freeman are co-workers and friends. Then one day Brian learns that they are pitted against one another. She is about to step ahead of him on the corporate ladder to success. The story, "Kudzu and Leprechaun's Gold," is a spin off from the poem "Kudzu and Leprechaun's Gold." Young Art Fitzgerald is amusing, but his many antics cause him considerable ragging from his family and friends. However, he is absolutely serious. He had found a book and reading it made him aware that he had something special to do with his life. But what is it that he is supposed to do? In what manner will the mystery be revealed?
