German description: Der Band beschaftigt sich mit dem zunehmend kritischen Bereich der sozialen Infrastruktur, der ambulanten Pflege. Er nimmt eine Bestandsaufnahme dessen vor, was gegenwartig bei der hauslichen Unterstutzung langerfristig hilfe- bzw. pflegebedurftiger Personen geschieht bzw. geschehen kann und wie sich dies zu den Erwartungen und Versprechungen verhalt, die den offentlichen und fachwissenschaftlichen Diskurs pragen. Das Verhaltnis von Anspruch und Wirklichkeit wird kritisch analysiert, um daraus insbesondere fur jene Akteure, die ambulante Hilfe organisieren und managen, Perspektiven fur die Zukunft abzuleiten.
